message to AHWTD cast and crew - re: credits
Simon here again, possibly my last post until we have something big to announce. At any rate, if you worked on AHWTD and have an opinion on how you're credited (how your name should be printed, etc.), fire me off a message, either commenting here or to one of my personal addresses. We're entering our last phases of post-production, which means we'll be putting together our credit sequences soon, and if you have an opinion on this sort of thing, now is the time to let us know! Okay. Out.

And if you don't know, better ask somebody.

So, like, we're in the news. Our producer Travis let a few people know about the movie, and looked what happened. Gosh. He's keeping me apprised of these stories, so I may add a few more at a later time... We're probably going to start being more secretive about the film after this, just so people are eventually able to enjoy it as much as possible, but if any more articles crop up, I'll post them on this page.

okay, so, we're filming
Nobody's updated this blog page in awhile because there's only a handful of people doing everything on this movie, and one of them's me, which means that updating this blog occasionally gets prioritized beneath finding actors, locations, crew members, equipment and places to cry myself to sleep. However, we are currently on day four of our eighteen day shoot, so if you see anyone running around Columbia, MO with cameras, chasing a disheveled man with fake blood all over him, well, that's us. And in general we would appreciate it if you did not call the police on us. Our shoot wraps on March 22, so if you see something like that after March 22, by all means go ahead and call the cops. Not before, though.
Shooting's going great, we're making our days and everything's awesome. I am just a tad tired and I have lost my voice from screaming obscenities at our crew, but everything's going to be terrific. Really.
Thanks to everyone who came out to our auditions or told anyone else to - we're still finding places for some of you, and have rewritten some roles to fit some of the amazing people we found - and thanks to anyone who's working for us for free or letting us use their locations. There will be vastly more extensive gratitude doled out later - and in our credits - but for now we're all just amazed at how nice everyone in Columbia has been to us. Hopefully we won't wear out our welcome in the next three weeks.
Sincerely yours,
Simon

AUDITION DETAILS
Okay, details have been established for our auditions: We are holding our auditions at Charters Lecture Hall on the Stephens College Campus this Saturday and Sunday (February 20 and 21) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. The address there is 1400 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO 65215, but basically you want to through the glass doors on the north side of Broadway at the intersection of Broadway and Dorsey (that's how this was explained to me) and then you'll see our signs or possibly just us. We chose this location because it should be quiet and comfortable and also it's near enough to downtown and the MU campus that it should be easy for everyone to find. If you have any ability or interest in acting, you should definitely drop by. Hell, even if you don't, just come and say hello. Chances are we'll cast you anyway.

hey, actors
Awesome amount of responses from everybody, thanks so much. This is going to be a fun process.
A minor note: It would be pretty helpful if, when you get in touch with us, if you could include a photo right away. Some people are doing this, others are not. It's really helpful, allows us to put a face to your name immediately and start thinking of what parts you could physically fit before we meet you. Like I've said, we are casting all types, so it's nice to start organizing these things in advance.
Similarly, one of the best ways to get in touch with us is on Facebook. Then we can see all your photos and stuff. Again, some people have done this, others have not. I just wanted to reiterate that it's cool. Friend me or whatever, I don't care, and I'm 31 years old so I don't have too many Facebook friends. My profile is here: http://www.facebook.com/simonmbarrett
Below is a photo of me in my largest film performance to date. I played a dead body in a film that I wrote and produced. I was quite convincing, but don't be intimidated.

That's all, gotta run. Thanks!
